Our story begins in 1927 when the founder of our family, Valente Taddei, after attending the first tennis coaching course in Italy, established the first tennis club in Viareggio.
A courageous and visionary man, he foresaw the great potential of tennis, an elegant and exclusive sport destined to win over more and more enthusiasts. With this vision, he created new tennis clubs in prestigious locations such as Forte dei Marmi, Lido di Camaiore, Marina di Massa, Florence, and Marina di Pietrasanta.
His commitment and dedication were absolute: he purchased the first machine to crush bricks and create the legendary red clay, personally building the courts. This legacy of passion has profoundly shaped our family.
Upon his untimely passing at just 57 years old, his children took up his mantle.
In particular, Vinicio and his wife Giusy founded the Circolo Tennis Taddei in Marina di Pietrasanta in 1972, laying the foundation for an evolution that would turn the facility into a benchmark for sports in Versilia. Today, more than 50 years later, the same passion continues to thrive through Nicola, his wife Francesca, and their sons, Leonardo and Giacomo, who lead the Taddei Sports Center with the same spirit of excellence, innovation, and love for sports that has defined our history from the very beginning.
